Copying Conditionally Formatted Cells and cell references

    Hi,

There is probably a simple answer to this, but I;m having one of those days!

    I have a conditional format on a A1 that says turn grey if B1 = 0

What I want to do is copy and paste A1 to A2 and force the condition above to be based on B2

    and so on......

what happens now is that when i paste to A2 it turns grey when B1 = 0 as it takes a literal copy of the format and doesnt increment the cell reference in the formula

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Hi, Thanks... but this seems to only give me the same results... the other cells in Col A (painted from A1) are still being formatted based on the condition of B1

    Hi again,

Are you sure in cell A1, you have
    Formula Is
    =B1=0
    ...

Should you have more difficulties, just upload a zipped copy of your worksheet
