Problem with dates

i have a problem with some of the dates in my spreadsheet. Here is the problem:

i want to input the date as "03/02/2007" (3rd February) when i do this however it changes to "02/03/2007" (2nd March). No matter what date format i choose it always changes to this date and i dont know why or what to do

any help with this will be greatly appreciated

Enter your date, right-click Format cells and custom format to dd/mm/yyyy.

The chances are though you need to go into Start > Control Panel > Regional & Launguage Options and check things out there. Once these are set correctly, Excel should perform as intended.
