How to superimpose a normal distribution curve over a histogram in excel?

    Hi,

I am having some problem with excel. I know how to create a histogram and a normal distibution curve, but what I want to do is after creating a histogram superimpose a normal distribution curve over the histogram. Can you please give me some info on how to do this! Treat me as a newbie.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Alex

You can only draw a chart if you have data points. So the way to do this is to first create your histogram, then create another column of data next to your histogram data that is the normal distribution curve equivelant. You should be able to easliy calculate the required data given your comments about normal curves.

yeah i know...I have created the histogram, and have got the data for the normal distibution graph (also know how to do one). BUT what i want to do is to "put" the normal distribution graph "over" the histogram. How can I do that???
