Filling the numbers

I have Beg and End ranges and I want to fill in the between numbers, how do I do that. The ranges are alpha numeric like
beg # abc123
end # abc145

Not sure I understand the question exactly, but if you put abc123 in a cell you can auto-fill down to abc145?
