    Question Pivot Running Totals

    Hello

    I have a pivot table which displays actual values and budget values for a full year by month across the sheet. I've inserted 2 calculated fields and set the field option to 'Running Total' to give me cumulative actual and budget values across the year and a further calculated field to give me the variance between these 2 sets of cumulative values. Fine so far. But now I want to include another row to show the percentage variance between the 2 sets of cumulative data. Does anyone know if this is possible? Whatever I've tried calculates against the monthly budget value and not the cumulative.

    I'm not good enough with doing calculations on calculated fields in Pivot Tables to tell you anything about it for certain. But, I can comiserate that I have had similar problems. The answer was VBA, triggered by the Pivot Calculate Event.
