    Date header as default

Is there a way to have the date as the header as the default so that whenever I print anything, it will have today's date on header each time without me having to manually put &[date] on each and every single one of my printouts?

You can create your own template in Excel then use it as the basis for all of your new workbooks.

Starting with a blank workbook, set up all of the options you want as defaults, including the date in the header, then use Save as and select the "Template (*.xlt)" option. Close the template file.

When you want to use the template, instead of clicking on the icon for a new workbook, click on File, New and select your own template.

If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:
