    Sumproduct-het #VALUE! error.

    I am trying to get a simple count from this formula in a cell that is formatted general I het #VALUE! error. I change the format of the cell to number but come up w/ the same error.

    Formula:

    =SUMPRODUCT((J4:J98="x")*(CV4:CV98="M")*(CW4:CW98>=0)*(CW4:CW98<=19))

    The formula looks OK to me so I'd suggest you have problems with the data. Do you have any #VALUE! errors in those ranges

    If there are no obvious errors in your data, you can always evaluate the formula in Excel. Select the cell that has your formula, and click Tools - Formula Auditing - Evaluate Formula. Click the Evaluate button in that window to step through each part of the formula.

    My guess is that at some point you will see a "VALUE" error, which would most likely be the root cause of the whole formula evaluating to this error.
