I am using Office 2000 version of Excel
I recently re-installed it
now the "X' in the upper right corner used to close the window/file doesn't work. I have to use the "Exit" function.
What gives?

There is a Microsoft KB article about using the Novell GroupWise add-in which causes this. If you are using that add-in, I suggest reading the article below. If not.. we'll keep trying..
