Excel Calc function not refreshing

Hi,

I have a very strange issue with Excel, both XP and 2003. When a user opens various spreadsheets that use the CALC (F9) function to refresh figures to reflect chages elsewhere in worksheets. The Calc option is set to Manual, but when the user presses F9 after updating a figure nothing is updated. She has to go into each cell that should be updated and press F9 for each cell.
She is using Win XP SP2 and i Have re-installed Office 2003 SP2, and even tried dropping her down to Office XP SP3.

Has anyone ever come accross this issue before.

Thnanks for that, i found a side note in there about Iteration and that seems to have solved my problem for now.
