Mixing text with date format in a single cell

Hello,

I have been trying to put today's date (dynamic update) with a text next to it in a single cell.

I can see two ways of possibly achieving this besides the easier way of using two separate cells:
- One is trying to copy a text format of another cell that displays the date format of todays date
- Two is to actually mixing the text with the date, both having different formats (I actually deem to be impossible)

I would really like to know a way of accomplishing the first option, as the second might not be possible (unless we deal we an actual vb script)
