Nikoky,
How???
I was ready to post the exact same question -
I want to change the color of two cells (D4:E4) according to how the content of another cell (C4) compares to the contents of yet another cell (D3).
How?
Thanks!
If you have two numbers, say 5 in cell C4, and 2 in cell D3, you can do the following conditional format:
Select both cells you want to conditionally format (D4:E4, in this case) then click Format --> Conditional Formatting
In the Condition 1, change 'Cell Value Is' to 'Formula Is'. In the text box just right of that, type the following formula:
=$C$4>$D$3
(I used a greater than comparison here, but you can use =, <=, >=, etc..) If you don't put the $ in like shown, the conditional formula will only work properly in the first cell in your selected range (D4). After that, the conditional formula for E4 would become "=D4>E3".
Next click the Format.. button and change the font color, size, background color (whatever) to how you want it to appear when your condition is met.
Click OK, and you should be set!

Thank you!
That works fine.
