derive formula from series of points

Hi all,

Im a newby with Excel.

Is it possible to derive the formula that relates a list of two points.
It looks exponential (ish) but i really need the formula that best fits the line.

I prefer to do my curve fitting using the LINEST worksheet function. See Excel help for this function and http://www.tushar-mehta.com/publish_...nalysis/16.htm

If the equation form you want is available in the chart trendline tool, that is often easier to implement for those who are unfamiliar with LINEST (though you then have to extract the coefficients to a worksheet if you want to do anything with them).
