    Pivot table creation

I am attempting to compile information into a pivot table. One of my data labels has several columns of data under it as there are multiple entries for that data label in each row of the worksheet. When I create the pivot table it only compiles the data in the first column under the data label and doesn't continue on into the second, third, fourth, etc. columns. I don't know if there is a trick to getting this done or if it is even possible. If impossible, could I get suggestions on how to achieve the desired outcome. I only need a count of the fields under the specified data label and which ones are the same.
