Macro to randomly pick data and insert, is there one?

    Hi.

I have no clue how to write a macro, or what the capabilites of a macro are. I am however well versed in Excel and have a little knowledge of Access. I have a question for anyone that can answer it.

I play an online computer game, World of Warcraft, and I run a guild of about 50 players. Every week we do "dungeon" runs, and we have to split up into 3 groups of 10. This obviously leaves out a lot of people, but I find it hard to work out in my head who to bring and who not to bring.

Here is the problem and my question. Each player brings a certain "class" ( a fighter type, a healer type, and a wizard type) to the group. Is there a macro that can choose from a certain range of data, randomly pick a cell and insert it to another cell of 1 - 10 which would equal my 10 members. This would need to be done 3 times, but I can't have duplicates.

So here is what I was thinking, if it works. I type the names of my Healer types in cells a1, a2, a3, a4, a5. My blank unpopulated list for the 10 players for group 1 starts at cell a100. So I want to hit the macro and it have it search through a1:a5, randomly pick two names without duplicates and place them somewhere in cells a100:a110 and have this repeat again for the "Fighter type" and "wizard type".

Does this make sense to anyone as to what I am asking? Can any of you think of an easier way to do this? Access maybe? If this is anywhere doable and more info is needed, please let me know!

Thanks in advance for any help, even if the answer is "It can't be done"

If I am allowed, I can post a screenshot of my data (fake names of players of course) if it would help.

edit: changed title because it didnt follow the posting rules, sorry about that.

This should be fairly easy for Excel, not for Access. The RAND and Randomize functions would be useful! It will be a good exercise for you!
    Best regards,
