Count Occurance in Column

Hi there

I have a column which contains a multitude of date and I would like to be able to count the number of times each date appears.

Does anyone know a way of doing this without using countif? I don't want to have to change the countif criteria for each day and can't seem to find a way for it to change automatically.

Brilliant! Thanks NBVC. I always thought the criteria part of the countif function had to be enclosed in quote marks, which meant dragging down didn't work.
