    keyboard select question

    Hi trying to not use the mouse so much... my question is if I use the arrow keys to select a cell what the keborad button I use to edit the content inside.

    forexample I select a cell that says "text" (a1) with my arrow keys, now if I hit space it erases text, if I hit any key it replaces "text" with whatever key I pressed". is there a keyboard way to edit the "text" ?

    Thanks !! Much!

    The F2 button will edit for you.

    smart filling

    Hi,

    I tried looking for help on this one but maybe you guys know.

    Cntrl -D will do the filling but what if I want to smart fill. For example

    A1 = 1
    A2 = 2

    normailly if I highlight both of thes and drag down it'll fill A3 =3 A4=4 etc. But if I try using the keyboard shortcuts, hilighting A1 and A2 then using Control-D it just fills everything with 1.

    Is there a keyboard short cut to smart fill?

    Thanks!
