    Search for Highest

    first of all we cant upload an excel file

    anyways, i'm not that acquainted w/ excel and i need help with figuring out how to get the "Points Behind Leader" column to work. inotherwords, i want to be able to have excel subtract the points of the team w/ highest score from all other teams.

    In J2 put

    =F2-MAX($F$2:$F$10)

    and fill down to J10

    Shouldn't that be the other way round?

    If you want the points behind the leader then you need to subtract each teams score from the highest score, which would be this formula in J2 copied down.

    =MAX(H$2:H$10)-H2

    Yep, my formula will return non-positive values. Good eye.
