How can I enter "0014.0000" without Excel showing it as "14"?

    Hey everyone,

I'm having a issue where I need to enter a series of numbers exactly as they are found elsewhere. However, whenever I try to enter the numbers into Excel, Excel alters the numbers.

How can I stop Excel from automatically converting "0014.0000" into "14". I've tried formatting the text of the cell, but I can't seem to find the right conversion format. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

If you first format the cell as text, then enter the numbers, it will stay as you enter them.
