    Conditional Formatinh

    OK, hoping some out there can solve this one for me!

    I have got a excel file i use to keep track of my companies training records and currently I have set the conditional formating to have dates in GREEN when the employees training is valid and RED when it has expired.

    What I would like it to do is go AMBER (or somethhing similar) when it is 3 months from the date in the cell.

    Im sure this is dead easy to do, but i just cant figure the damn thing out!

    Hope someone out there can help on this.

    I thank you in advance

    You need to use two conditions

    One is for the date in the cell to be less than now

    i.e. the condition is less than = NOW()

    with the pattern set to red.

    Then press the add button and add a new condition

    i.e. the condition is less than = NOW()-92

    with the pattern set to amber.

    92 = 3 month's worth of days.

    Excel gives precendence to the first condition when both are satisfied.
