    Excel Pivot field list sorting

    Hi all,

I have looked around and haven't been able to get a solution to my problem: I need to sort the field list of the excel pivot table (when you click on the field to expand it to have the available fields sorted).
Does anyone know a solution to this? Thanks in advance!

Double click on the middle of the field button then click Advanced and you will find some sort options.

If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:

tuph: it's not what I need though. I need to sort the list in the window itself, not the results (look at the attachment). By the way the attached list is sorted but it's for an example only. Thanks!

Sorry, Maxik. I thought sorting the field would sort the list also. Someone with more expertise than I needs to look at this.

Actually you were correct, sorting the list sorted it the window as well. Thank you!
