How to avoid the value "0" in a cell...

I need some assistance. I'm no expert at Excel but I'm sure that there is one out there that has the answer for me. Basically, I've created a spread sheet in which there is a cell that calculates a percentage from another cell. Now this formula is repeated in several rows. My problem is that once I copy that formula in those cell and they are somehow not used, the value "0" is posted. How do I go about getting rid of that value? Here is what my simple formula looks like: =E6*.05. Now when I repeat that formula in another cell in which there is no data,, it gives me a value of "0".

    Can anyone assist me?

Go to TOOLS-OPTIONS- Make sure you are in the view tab- Uncheck "Zero Values" field.

Let me know if that helps.
