pROTECT OR lOCK CELLS SO THAT THEY CANNOT BE EDITED

I am trying to lock a range of cells so that the formulas are not editable by anyone other then myself.

I Have tried going into the cell formatting function under the tool menu Format option and clicking the lock option and then protecting the sheets but this does not work.

Is there a way to lock cells the way I want and if so, can someone explain the process.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Tools, Protection, Protect Sheet will lock all cells that have 'Locked' ticked in the cell options Protection tab. Remove the tick for those cells you do not want locked.

There are options on the protection that you can select.
