    Personal.xls vs. Book1

As of recently, for some reason Excel now opens with a blank spreadsheet titled personal.xls as opposed to Book1. It seems this occurred after adding a macro. Is there a way to change this back, and does it matter at all?

    Just wondering.

If you go to Window > select the Personal.xls file > Hide, then when you open Excel again you will open with Book1.xls

That did the trick. Bless you, that's one less of life's little annoyances.
