    Formula Vs. Pivot Table?

    Hi all,

Was wondering if someone could tell me how to....here:

If column titled Category = "AHD DR"

List corresponding locations that = "AHD DR".

I didn't know if I could do this in a formula or if I had to do a pivot table.

Also, do pivot tables automatically update with additions in data? Say, if I have to create a pivot table for the above scenario, will all future AHD DR events auto update into my table?

    Thanks!

Pivot tables don't automatically update, but there is a Refresh button on the pivot table tool bar. Future events will be included in the refresh as long as the source data range includes all of the cells involved.

If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:
