Removing duplicate cells

Hi

I need to know if it's possible to remove duplicate numbers to leave only the unique numbers.

Example:

12345 56789
42569 56983
56789 12345
56983 23456

After the list has been filtered it should only show the following numbers:

42569
23456

Where it removed both the original and the duplicate number.

If all cells are in column A, one idea is to PIVOT the table and then count the # of occurrences. If you're not familiar with how to do that specifically with the PIVOT function, you can place a "1" in an extra column and use the Word document following a step by step approach. After you're done, you can filter on the document, pulling in only the items having a "1" (single occurrence)

I have followed your links but I can't seem to filter how I want it to.

It either filters them so that only one of the numbers are showing or totals them up.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I've even gone through google but still can't seem to find the answer.
