Make items in a list topic headers.

I have been given a project where I am given a list in excel and then have to take the items in the list and have them automatically be put into topic headers. What seems like an easy project but has been perplexing me.

If anyone has any insight to how I can complete this - Please let me know.

Could you be a bit more specific as to what a "topic header" is? Is it a column header?

It is not a column header. Rather, I am just making a chart. So I need them listed in a column. Next each of them, I need the count of how many times they appear in the original list (this part I am okay with).
