Inserting data horizontally

Hi All

Hoping someone might be able to assist me as I'm trying to insert a list of data horizontally... I know it's easy enough to do it vertically just by clicking a cell and then pasting, but I'd like to do this horizontally.

Is it possible to take a list of data such as...

space
rainbow
fish
cow
car
etc

and then insert it into Excel horizontally (into individual columns) as per below...

space rainbow fish cow car etc

Select your range
copy
go to where you want to start
Paste Special
Select Transpose - OK

If you want to enter data horizontally, ie, move to right (horizontally) when you hit enter after entering data,

1. Go to option toolbar
2. Edit tab
3. Change the direction as you wish (eg. right) in "Move selection after enter"
