I'm creating a marketing effectiveness report for my company. They want to know how much money is being made from people sold because they saw an ad in various newspapers around the Western United States. They want to know this information on a per paper basis.
For instance, they want to know how many people who saw the ad in the Arizona Republic who made an appointment were sold, and what the total dollar amount is. This same sheet is also a sales report, so a lot of information is tracked on it.
The problem is this:
I have a range in a column that is for dollar amounts made for each sale. The range is 5:53. In another column, I have a data list that includes 26 options that represent various papers around the West. We want to know how much each paper is making for us in dollar amounts. I've included a screenshot so you can see exactly how I would need to calculate this.
\1
So what I need to do is check range L5:L52 for AZ-AR, if true, I need to add the dollar amount in the corresponding row (i.e. H5), and put the total dollar amount made from the Arizona Republic ad campaign in cell U5.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys,
