    Here's one to start,
just google the formula you want to get results,
    also use excels help

Also, a fast way to create simple formulas is like this

    1) after clicking in your source cell, click in the fomula bar and hit the = key
    2) then click the next cell you'd like included in you calculations
    3) press the appropriate key for the operation you'd like. Ex '+'
    4) click the next cell. In this case the one you'd like to add to the 1st.
    5) hit enter to end or continue on adding more cells to the string

I have done all the calculations to put a simple formula in but all I get is #Value instead of the answer.

You have given us nothing as to what formula you are using, all you have said that nothing works, how are we supposed to know what you are doing??

Basically I have a simple spreadsheet I have imported from Protrade.com which has the stock "prices" for baseball players and their "fantasy earnings" . I.e Rodriguez $296.87 earnings and $399.62 price. I want to divide his earnings by his price. When I put the figures in the excel formula i.e. 296.87/399.62 i manage to get the answer. However, when I put the formula =d2/e2 into a cell it comes up #value. So, therefore I can't put my own formula into a spreadsheet and have it work out the sum. Hope that makes it a little clearer.Yankees book.zip
