    swapping cells?

is there a quick function or keyboard stroke to swap cells? for example, i have data in one column...i have data in a cell in another column...is there a way i can highlight the two cells, and in a stroke, have the two cells swap places???

would be cool if there is....thanks

If you want to do the whole column, say A and B, then select column A, then put your mouse over the right border of the highlighted column, press shift and drag the column to the right hand side of column B, you will see a little yellow marker with C:C, the let go of the mouse button.

If its just the one cell, then select that cell and do the same process.

For it to work the two cells have to be side-by-side, for example A1 and B1, not A1 and G1

You will probably need VBA for that one, I'm afraid I can't help with that one. You would be better posting another question in the programming section, I'm sure someone will help.

Just give them as much info as possible - good luck.
