import certain line from word.

Hey All,

im hoping someone can help me.

Basically I have a lot of data in word with columns like cust name , money spent, and STATE

Then at the bottom is has a total for each state.

Is there a simple way I can import every ENTIRE line that starts with:

"State Total" into excel?

I would greatly appreciated any help.

Why not copy the lot and then sort in Excel to bring the relevant lines together. Then you can delete all the rest.
