    formatting?

    Hi Guys

If I wanted to GREY OUT certain cells in that row based on the instructions in another cell so if:

A1 = "YES" then it shows cells B1,C1,D1 etc

    but if:

A1 = "No" then it GREYS out cells B1, C1,D1 etc

Conditional formatting may not be an option as I have already set the three maxmum types of formatting for the data in those cells meaning the data in those cells turn red, orange or green depending on whats in there.
I just want it to the GREY out if cell A1 specifies YES or NO.

    Please advise.

    Thanks

Why don't you start off with those cells formatted as "greyed out" and then in your conditional formats you can change the Font colour to "automatic" to bring back the text as well as your colouring.

This will avoid you having to use VBA to get 4 conditional formats
