    Copying Exact formulas

Is there an easy way to copy an exact formula to a different location?

I have a number of rows of data I would like to duplicate in another location, and the formulas are not static (they do not have $ in them.)

Is there an easier way to copy the formula than pressing f2 copying the text and pasting that?

    Thanks to anyone for assistance.

    Hello Heski,

The manual method is the easiest and most sensible for handling small amounts of data that are copied infrequently. If this needs to be done on a frequent basis then a macro would be the best solution.

    Good morning heski

If this needs to be done on a frequent basis then a macro would be the best solution.
Further to Leith's suggestion, for a ready made macro based solution, download and install my add-in from the link below. Once installed go to Ultimate > Range > Cut, Copy & Paste and from the drop down box select Formulae Without Changing.

    I sometimes do this.

    Select cells > then press Ctrl + H >

    In find box enter =
    in Replace enter zzz

then move formulas and reverse the above

    In find box enter zzz
    in Replace enter =

Link shows now you might do it with VBA
