    Index function with if statements

    I have a row... 0 0 0 8 6 9 8

I want to get the product of each of the numbers +1 so I am using
    =product(index(A1:A7+2, 0)) = 70400

now I want to remove anytime there is a zero but I do not know how to have it check to make sure that each value is greater than zero so that my result = 8800

    any suggestions?

    Thanks.

    ...back to array formulas....

    try:

    =PRODUCT(IF(A1:A7>0,INDEX(A1:A7+2,0)))

which must be confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER keys...not just ENTER... you will notice { } brackets appear.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Yes that does work. Thank you.

Do you think there is a way to do it without the ctrl-shift-enter?
