    Look up

    Hi,

I need help with a look up formula.

I need the dates in column F (date required) on the Log tab to deliver a period number into Column K on the log tab using the dates and period numbers on the lookup tab.

    Help?

I am not sure what range "period" covers, but try:

    =VLOOKUP(F137,Lookup!$A$2:$B$365,2,FALSE)

    copied down.

If "period" covers A2:B365 in Lookup sheet, then substitute Lookup!$A$2:$B$365 for "period" (without quotes).
Where there is a will there are many ways.
