    Converting from one table to another

    well,
    in the last few years the tips in this forum always soved all of my problems without any need to post anything of my own.
    now - i'm in trouble. i hope you can help.

    my question is best asked using the picture attached.
    i need to create a new table (right) from the table on the left.

    i can phrase this questions SQLly...
    SELECT COLA, COLB
    FROM TABLE
    GROUP BY COLA, COLB;

    See if this helps

    =IF(SUMPRODUCT(--($A$1:A1=A1)*($B$1:B1=B1))=1,1,0)
    Assumes Data in Col A and Col B
    Filter on the 1's

    I really appreciate you taking the time to solve my problem. i tried to solve it by myself unsuccessfully. the truth, i didn't understand the solution - i just copy pasted it and it works wonderful!

    Glad to be of help.

    Actually VBA Noob has the better solution, replace the formula in column D with this one and delete the contents of column C.
