    Spanning formula

    I am looking for the formula that will create values for columns 2 and 3, below, that will produce a straight line between the 1 and 4 values on a line chart. See attached. I had it around here somewhere and now I can't remember how to do it a year later. Very frustrated. It was a very simple formula.

    I don't know how generic you want this to be.....this will work for this specific setup, put this formula E11 and drag to F11

    =D11-($D11-$G11)/3
