    calculating total payment - Time duration x Hourly Rate

    I have created a spreadsheet about hours worked and payment. I cannot figure out how to work out if someone clocks in at 8:30 and clocks out and 5:30 and is payed £10 an hour..what will the total be? how would i set this up on excel and work it out?

    =(B2-A2+(A2>B2)*24)*10

    Calculate the duration time using this formula

    Calculation the payment fee
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    Then Format cells using Number Format

    Because the base unit of payment on hiring fee is base on Pound/day.
