how to read arrow in excel

hi to all,
i did some module in my project using excel ,
now i had face some problem, whats my problem is
i want to read the arrow or line in my excel
and find the starting point and ending point,
it is possible then please help any one
I did my project using java , and i am using jxl package,
other package also i am accept, please give me the solution
