    Setting time issue?

    Ok,

I want to be able to include how long it takes someone to do something. i.e. 1.45 (1 hour 45mins), 0.02(2 mins) etc...etc...

im writing it as 1.45 for one hour 45 mind and 0.02 for 2mins.

Im taking an average or 30 or so times but it comes out as 5.80. Which isnt right.

How do i set it so excel understands its time and not a general number.

    Sorry if this is obvious.

    Kindest Regards

    Tom

You need to enter time using the semi-colon, example 1:45
