    on formula bar

    well this is the problem I'm facing;
    I have merged 5 cells in excel vertically and want to add data on them in the form as below:
    1.....
    2....
    3....
    4....
    5.....
    My problem is that it puts the 1.... down at the fifth merged cell and when I press enter if goes down to a cell outside the area of the five merged cells. The merge & wrap option didn't solve the isssue. Any suggestions?

    I am not a fan of merging cells, maybe try alt-enter
