Highlight cell in column in active cell in row

I have record names in column "A". I want that record name to become highlighted if any field in that row is the active cell (much like Excel highlights the column and row headers). I suspect this can be accomplished using conditional formatting for all the cells in column "A", but after that brilliant idea I am clueless. Help?

I don't know that you can do it with conditional formatting but put this code in the Sheet Code:

If you have any other fill colors in Column A it will wipe them out, though
