    Filtering

    Hi Guys,

Im trying to create a formula but im having problems,

In column A i have a list of about 5/6 names but they are repeated so i actually have about 30 rows. In column B, depending on ther criteria it will either say "Overdue", "Not Due", "Due Today" ect

What i want to do is have the list of these 5/6 names on another sheet and one column next to it saying the number of "overdue" items there are for that person?

    Is this possible?

    Thanks

Why not use Filtering on your first list and filter by name? Go to Data > Autofilter and filter by name

    Thanks for the quick reply.

This doesnt really show what i'm after im afraid.

Basically, sheet1 is a task list that has many columns, many users ect about 30 colums in total.

Sheet 2 shows a summary of this task list which includes each user, number of tasks complete, pending, in progress ect.

I would like to add another column that shows The number of tasks each user has that is overdue an thus need a formula that does what i mentioned in my opening post?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
