Unhappy password protect certain sheets within the project

Well I am new to this forum, so sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I am starting a ICT project using excel with VB. A basic system for a small local shop.

    1.
I need to password protect certain sheets within the project. I do not know what VB code I need to use.
I wanted a button that uses a macro to open a box were the uses has to input a password before taken to the next sheet.
And also so this can not be avioded by simply clicking on the tab at the bottom of the page. Maybe this can be done by hidding the sheet or something.

    2.
I think this might be called a lookup or something, but I do not know too much.
On a sheet there will be details of a customers stored, I want a seperate VB form that once The user types the ID number the rest of the information will automatically be filled in (to save time in essence)

    3.
There will be a couple of forms like described in "2". The first a customer form which I need to have a buttom which will input the information in all the feilds in the form onto a sheet
So customer details in the sheet which will be used to print a reciept.

And then this button should automically take the user to a stock purchase form. On this form, also the information should be automatic once the ID is typed. And there should be a button that also inputs information into a sheet (the reciept) but not take the user off the form. Because a customer may wish to purchase multiple stock items.

A sperate button should be used to take the user to the receipt, where the customer and stock information are ready to print. Just to add, I don't know if calcualtions on the sheet (receipt page) will stop anythin from working or not?

Thats it! Thanks for reading, I tryed to presenst and word it clearly but if you don't understand anything please ask. Any help will not be under appreciated.

what's the name of the shop so I can contact them and give them a price quote? You don't have one specific problem that you want assistance with you want he entire project coded for you. That's a pretty tall order for a volunteer help board.
    ---------------------------------------------------
ONLY APPLIES TO VBA RESPONSES WHERE APPROPRIATE
To insert code into the VBE (Visual Basic Editor)
    1. Copy the code.
    2. Open workbook to paste code into.
    3. Right click any worksheet tab, select View Code
    4. VBE (Visual Basic Editor) opens to that sheets object
    5. You may change to another sheets object or the This Workbook object by double clicking it in the Project window
    6. In the blank space below the word "General" paste the copied code.

I am going to agree with Excelenator. Try building it as best as you can, and if you have any questions along the way, we will help.
