Converting to .csv - problems with decimal point truncation

    Hello,
I noticed an annoying problem while converting Excel files to .CSV. It appears that my values are truncated to just two decimal points, as opposed to 6 in my original. This results in some data inconsistencies... Is there an easy fix for this? Much appreciated!

    Hello bluepenguin,

Select the cells that you are having a problem with and check what the Number Format is set to. The default setting is 2 decimals. If the cells are formatted as General you can type in as many decimals as you want and they will be displayed. But when the cells are converted into a CSV, Excel sees them as numbers and formats them according to the default setting if the you haven't already set the cell to a specific number format.

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
