Hi all was hoping someone could give me some incite on how i might be able to filter a list of names (all in the same col) so that it removes any name not listed more then once. All of the name are in order so that any duplicate names would appear right after one another.
Example:
A
1. Michael
2. Michael
3. Gary
4. Joan
5. Eric
6. Jenn
7. Jenn
I would like all of the names removed from that list except Michael and Jenn.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You would need a "helper" column.
Say your data is in A2:A9, in another column enter formula =COUNTIF($A$2:$A$9,A2) and copy it down. This will give a count of each name.
Now when you filter, choose Custom from the filter drop down and select "does not equal" and enter 1.
This will filter out names appearing only once..
Where there is a will there are many ways.
