MS Query Update changes formulas

I have a workbook with two sheets, has data that refreshes from a DB and the other is the finished report with all the formulas.

The problems is when I "refresh data" and something new is added the formulas change. This morning 77 records where added and a$2:a$25000 changed to a$2:25077. Any ideas?

You worksheet is linked by the query to the database. If the database is updated the worksheet and its links will also update. Were you expecting something diferrent?

yea.. the a$2:a$25000 is part a formula that doens't need to be changed.

It maybe easier to rewrite the formula rather than finding away to freeze the formulas.
