CPU usage question for excel 2007 users.

Can you try this: press ctrl+delette. In windows xp.
Then choose to see the processor performance.
Try load a verry big excel spread sheet.

Is it using the 2 CPU? Or just one. Cause I have excel 2007 with 2 CPU, but it is only using 1 cpu at 100%. Would like to know if excel 2007 would make a better use of CPU ressources.

Ansower Excel 2003 can't use Intel Hypertread or any dual or quadra CPU. He only see one CPU and he try not to exceed 50% of it. So if you want excel to goes faster and you have a rescent computer, try the demo of Office home, you will notice ecel run 2x faster. You don't need to change your computer. Office 2007 can handle multi core CPU.
