Text Box within protected doc question

When I create a report and protect the sheet for locked cells (users can select unlocked cells) how can I keep a text box for comments unaffected by the protection?

    Thanks

With the sheet unprotected, right click on the text box and select "Format Text Box" Go to the Protection Tab and make sure "Locked" is checked and "Lock Text" is not checked. Click OK and then protect your spreadsheet.

    Thanks

I didn't realize there was a 'format text box' with more than just the 'font' tab. One must right click on the box edge and not in the middle!

Another option is to not check the Objects box in the Protect Dialog.

..Wrap code by selecting the code and clicking the # or read this. Thank you.
