I have a pivot that has *department* in the page area, runs *jobs* vertically down the sheet and *employees* and *quarters* across the top. The user picks a department. Each department had a different number of employeess ranging from 1 to 15+. This makes an issue for reporting. We do not want to format the report for the max number of employees; there is no way that would even fit on a legal sheet. I went into File Page Set Up Sheet and I saw that in addition to *rows to repeat at top* there was a *rows to repeat at left*. I used tis field to select my *jobs* column. Now when I print the report, even if there are too many employees to fit one page, the subsequent page is readable.

The issue I now have is that at times an *employee* will split between to pages; Ex: Jones (Q1-Q4), Smith (Q1-Q4) and Hanson (Q1 Only) might print (fit) across the page and on the next page Hanson (Q2-Q4) continues followed by Messer (Q1-Q4) etc etc. This is undesirable. I sort of want to print as many full employee records as I can going across and if I hit a split to go to the next page.

Ideas?

By the way....I can not alter the report format. It must be this way; ie I can not make employee go vertical.
